# Webhook Configuration

Webhooks are used to inform the developers about the events that have been completed on the ISAC system. It gives the status update of important events.

When a webhook-enabled event occurs, the ISAC platform sends an HTTPS POST request containing information about the event to a preconfigured endpoint hosted on your system.
